STATUS: Probable.
  SKINNY: Team trainers will throw a few extra wraps of tape on Rhett's ankle for Thursday night and call it good. He will start.
BUFFALO BILLS
Eric Moulds, WR
INJURY: Hamstring.
STATUS: Out 3-4 wks.
  SKINNY: WR Moulds out 3-4 weeks with hamstring injury.
Thurman Thomas, RB
INJURY: Liver.
STATUS: Out.
  SKINNY: Jonathan Linton has assumed the role of third-down back with Thomas sidelined a few more weeks because of a bruised liver suffered in the season opener.
CINCINNATI BENGALS
Ki-Jana Carter, RB
INJURY: Knee.
STATUS: IR.
  SKINNY: Back-up RB Ki-Jana Carter was put on the IR with a dislocated right kneecap.
Corey Dillon, RB
INJURY: Sprained ankle.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: RB Corey Dillon will take a sprained ankle into practice this week.
Darnay Scott, WR
INJURY: Bruised ribs.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: WR Darnay Scott took a hard hit to the ribs after making his first and only catch on Sunday. He should be fine for this week.
CLEVELAND BROWNS
Leslie Shepherd, WR
INJURY: Hamstring.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: A pulled hamstring had Shepherd watching Sunday's game in street clothes. Rookie Darrin Chiaverini started in his place, and led the Browns in receptions and yardage, grabbing 5 passes for 45 yards. The Browns hope the extended rest will allow Shepherd to play this week against the Rams.
DENVER BRONCOS
Bubby Brister, QB
INJURY: Rib cage pull.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: QB Bubby Brister spent his second straight Sunday on the sidelines because of a pulled rib cage muscle while QB Brian Griese put another feather in his cap by leading the Broncos to their second victory in as many weeks. 
Terrell Davis, RB
INJURY: Knee surgery.
STATUS: IR.
  SKINNY: Davis recovering after knee surgery.
Derek Loville, RB
INJURY: Hamstring.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: RB Derek Loville may have more to worry about than his pulled hamstring after watching rookie Olandis Gary's (37-124-1, 2-26) performance against the Packers on Sunday. 
Shannon Sharpe, TE
INJURY: Collarbone.
STATUS: Out.
  SKINNY: TE Byron Chamberlain, making his first start in place of Sharpe, caught three passes for 123 yards in Sunday's win over the Packers. Sharpe is expected to be out at least eight more weeks.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
E.G. Green, WR
INJURY: Knee.
STATUS: Played Sunday.
  SKINNY: Green was able to come off the bench and run a few plays on Sunday, but really hasn't fully recovered from the minor knee surgery he had three weeks ago and wasn't a factor. Jerome Pathon started in his place once again and caught four balls for 42 yards. 
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Mark Brunell, QB
INJURY: Pulled rib cage.
STATUS: BYE week.
  SKINNY: Brunell was forced from Sunday's game after suffering a pulled rib cage muscle. Back-up QB Jay Fiedler replaced him and completed 10 of 12 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. Brunell will rest through the BYE week and hopes to recover in time for the Cincinnati game on Oct. 31.
Fred Taylor, RB
INJURY: Hamstring.
STATUS: BYE week.
  SKINNY: The Jags, who have a BYE this week, hope to have Taylor back in the mix for Cincinnati on Oct. 31.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Derrick Alexander, WR
INJURY: Bruised ribs.
STATUS: Questionable.
  SKINNY: WR Derrick Alexander is nursing a set of bruised ribs, but should be fine for Thursday's game against the Ravens.
Kimble Anders, RB
INJURY: Achilles' tendon.
STATUS: IR.
  SKINNY: A torn Achilles' tendon has ended Anders' season.
Tony Gonzalez, TE
INJURY: Sprained knee.
STATUS: Probable.
  SKINNY: Gonzalez is coming off a sprained knee suffered in Week 5, but is expected to go through practice with the team this week and be ready for Thursday night.
Rashaan Shehee, RB
INJURY: Hip pointer.
STATUS: Probable.
  SKINNY: Shehee will practice on Tuesday and is expected to start Thursday.
MIAMI DOLPHINS
Yatil Green, WR
INJURY: Hamstring.
STATUS: May practice.
  SKINNY: The back-up WR has missed the last three weeks with a pulled hamstring.
Dan Marino, QB
INJURY: Shoulder.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: The Miami Dolphins will keep injured quarterback Dan Marino out of practice until Thursday and will not start him Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles unless he's "100 percent," coach Jimmy Johnson announced Monday. 
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Troy Brown, WR
INJURY: Ankle.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: A high ankle sprain kept Brown on the sidelines Sunday, and has him questionable to practice this week. He suffered a similar injury to the same leg last year and missed six games. 
NEW YORK JETS
Wayne Chrebet, WR
INJURY: Broken foot.
STATUS: Returned.
  SKINNY: Chrebet made his season debut on Sunday after spending the first six weeks of the season sidelined with a broken foot. He caught five passes for 51 yards.
Vinny Testaverde, QB
INJURY: Achilles' tendon.
STATUS: IR.
  SKINNY: Testaverde ruptured his Achilles' tendon and is done for the year.
OAKLAND RAIDERS

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Ryan Leaf, QB
INJURY: Shoulder surgery.
STATUS: Rehabbing.
  SKINNY: Leaf has begun to throw the ball in practice, but won't be available for duty until November or December.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

  No significant injuries.
TENNESSEE TITANS
Jackie Harris, TE
INJURY: Hamstring.
STATUS: BYE week.
  SKINNY: TE Jackie Harris should be able to return to practice this week and be available for the Titans' next game against the Rams on Oct. 31.
Steve McNair, QB
INJURY: Back surgery.
STATUS: Out.
  SKINNY: Back surgery will keep McNair on the sidelines until November. Neil O'Donnell is starting at QB for the Titans while McNair recovers.
Yancey Thigpen, WR
INJURY: Hamstring.
STATUS: BYE week.
  SKINNY: Thigpen was a game-time scratch on Sunday due to a sore hamstring. The Titans have a BYE this week and Thigpen is expected to be ready for their next game against St. Louis on Oct. 31.

ARIZONA CARDINALS
Jake Plummer, QB
INJURY: Fractured finger.
STATUS: Out 4-6 wks.
  SKINNY: The Arizona Cardinals quarterback suffered a broken right ring finger in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Washington Redskins and will be sidelined four to six weeks. Plummer was replaced by Dave Brown, who was 8-of-20 for 117 yards, an interception and a touchdown. Arizona has a BYE this week. 
ATLANTA FALCONS
Jamal Anderson, RB
INJURY: Knee surgery.
STATUS: IR.
  SKINNY: A torn ACL has ended Anderson's season.
Chris Chandler, QB
INJURY: Flu.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: QB Chrissy Chandler, who has been out the last few weeks with a hamstring injury, lasted until early in the third quarter before leaving with flu-like symptoms.
CAROLINA PANTHERS

  No significant injuries.
CHICAGO BEARS
Curtis Conway, WR
INJURY: Ankle.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: Conway didn't practice much last week because of a sprained ankle and was held out of Sunday's game against the Eagles. Conway will try to go through a full practice Wednesday.
Jeff Jaeger, K
INJURY: Hip.
STATUS: IR.
  SKINNY: Jaeger, who's been plagued with a hip injury since training camp, was penciled on the injured reserve list and is done for the year. The team signed K Chris Boniol and he will be the man.
Shane Mathews, QB
INJURY: Hamstring.
STATUS: Week-to-week.
  SKINNY: Rookie QB Cade McNown will likely make his second NFL start this week with Mathews nursing a pulled hamstring.
DALLAS COWBOYS
Michael Irvin, WR
INJURY: Neck.
STATUS: Out.
  SKINNY: WR Ernie Mills will line-up opposite Raghib Ismail with Irvin out indefinitely because of a serious neck injury.
DETROIT LIONS
Charlie Batch, QB
INJURY: Bruised triceps.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: Batch had to leave Sunday's game after suffering a bruised triceps, which zapped the strength from his throwing arm. The injury isn't expected to be a factor for this weekend. He should start.
GREEN BAY PACKERS
Mark Chmura, TE
INJURY: Neck.
STATUS: IR.
  SKINNY: Chmura was put on the IR with a career-threatening neck injury.
Tyrone Davis, TE
INJURY: Bruised ribs.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: Davis, the starting TE with Chmura done for the year, flew home from Denver with a set of bruised ribs. He's to be re-examined.
MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Randall Cunningham, QB
INJURY: Demotion.
STATUS: Back-up.
  SKINNY: The Vikings have benched the ineffective Randall Cunningham in favor of Jeff George.
Robert Smith, RB
INJURY: Hernia.
STATUS: Surgery.
  SKINNY: Vikings RB Smith to undergo hernia surgery, out 3-6 weeks.
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Billy Joe Hobert, QB
INJURY: Neck stinger.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: Hobert was held out of Sunday's game because of a pinched nerve in his neck that has been bothering him the last few weeks. Tests performed on Hobert were negative for structural damage, but the injury affects his arm strength. Hobert plans to practice this week under the supervision of team trainers.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Greg Clark, TE
INJURY: Concussion / ribs.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: Starting TE Greg Clark suffered a mild concussion in the first quarter on Sunday, but was able to return in the second half. He also smashed his ribs when he failed to come up with a diving end-zone grab. Clark missed the first three games of the year with broken ribs. "It hurts pretty bad right now. Hopefully, it's something that will clear up in a couple of days," Clark said. 
Charlie Garner, RB
INJURY: Bruised ribs.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: Took a good hit to the chest over the weekend, but isn't expected to miss any time.
Terrell Owens, WR
INJURY: Ankle.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: J.J. Stokes started in place of the injured Terrell Owens and caught 3 passes for 53 yards. 
Steve Young, QB
INJURY: Concussion.
STATUS: Out.
  SKINNY: QB Jeff Garcia will lead the offense until at least early November. A decision on Young's status is to be determined then.
ST. LOUIS RAMS
Trent Green, QB
INJURY: Knee surgery.
STATUS: IR.
  SKINNY: Green is done for the year after having season-ending knee surgery. Kurt Warner is tearing up the NFL as his replacement.
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Warrick Dunn, RB
INJURY: Sprained knee.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: Coach Dungy expects Dunn to be ready for Chicago this week.
Bert Emanuel, WR
INJURY: Hamstring.
STATUS: Out.
  SKINNY: Starting WR Bert Emanuel was diagnosed with a partially torn right hamstring Monday night (10/11) and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks. Emanuel will be replaced in the starting lineup by Jacquez Green or Karl Williams
WASHINGTON REDSKINS
Stephen Davis, RB
INJURY: Sprained ankle.
STATUS: Uncertain.
  SKINNY: Starting RB Stephen Davis sprained his ankle with a little more than two minutes left in Sunday's game. Though the Redskins are concerned, Davis expects to play next Sunday.
